Despite being well received by the press and public alike, it was never placed into mass production."
This is a one-off prototype first shown at the Turin Motor Show in 1992 by Maserati, and again in 1994 by OPAC.

Official name is the Spider Maserati Convertible.

The car is totally hand-built, and based on the structural and mechanical base of the Maserati Spyder, but using the very pouwerful 3.2-litre V8 engine of the Maserati Shamal.

The car is in excellent condition, having only been driven in fine weather, and comes complete with hard and soft tops .
the car is fitted witht the 17-inch Ghibli GT rims for a better drive. The original 16-inch rims and good tyres are supplied with the car.

Among its special features is the Ranger differential with forced pump oil cooling with external heat exchanger.

The car has been serviced annually by a Maserati specialist in Holland, and the odometer is presently reading around 50,000 km.

A perfect driving car with exceptional "fun factor", the combination of its powerful engine and beautiful original lines.
